Consolidated Distribution Services, a division of The Consolidated Companies, has announced the purchase of the assets of the Parksite-Plunkett Webster Door operation located in Philadelphia, PA. This division of PPW was formally Eastern Distributors at the same location.
In addition to a myriad of other products, CDS has been a Masonite Entry Door distributor in their Dayton, N.J. location for many years. CDS will be moving it's current Masonite Door operation to the facility in Philadelphia, and integrate equipment and personnel, both in the shop and customer service. All other products will continue to be distributed out of the Dayton, New Jersey site.
The Consolidated Companies, headquartered in Clifton, New Jersey, operates two other divisions. Consolidated Lumber Corporation: distributors of Mouldings and Millwork to Retail Lumberyards and Home Centers in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania markets. Consolidated Pine: a manufacturer of Solid, Finger-Jointed, and Finger-Jointed & Primed Pine Mouldings located in Prineville, Oregon.
