At this time, I must regretfully inform you of the termination of our salesman, Mr. Steve Magee.
While Steve's efforts over the past several years are much appreciated, with the general effect the economy has had on our business, coupled with the constriction of our customer base, it became necessary to make a change in our sales personnel.
Although Steve's tenure with Consolidated spanned only 5 years, we sincerely appreciate the impact he had on all our behalf's, and wish him only good luck in any future endeavors.
While each of your accounts are important to us, rest assured that within the next week or so, we will formalize appropriate sales coverage with the express intent of providing the same sales and service you have become accustomed to from the Consolidated Companies.
Always know that I am always available for your constructive comments and suggestions.
Let me also take this opportunity to extend Holiday Greetings to all and the best of wishes for a Healthy and Happy New Year to all of you and your families.

It is with great pleasure that I introduce the newest member of our team, Mr. Brad Hodgins.
Brad comes to the Consolidated Companies with a breadth of experience in the New York/New Jersey Metro Building Materials Industry.
We welcome Brad to the outside staff and look forward to his positive input to our organization.

It is with mixed emotions that I announce the pending retirement of our long time salesman, Phil Mazzacca.
After over 41 years of employment with The Consolidated Companies, Phil has decided to re-locate to a residence in Florida, and begin another chapter of his life.
While I am not prepared to announce an immediate replacement, the due diligence for this endeavor has begun, and rest assured that a full plan will be in place for a seamless transition prior to the cessation of Phil's employment on December 16, 2011.
Although we have weeks to jointly discuss this transition, I hope all of you join me and the Staff at Consolidated Lumber and Consolidated Distribution Services, in not only thanking Phil for his efforts on all of our behalf's, but wishing him nothing but good health and fortune as he embarks on this next stage in his life.
I welcome any and all comments and suggestions, as it is our intention to assure all of our accounts continue to receive the high level of attention and support you have been accustomed to in the past.

The Consolidated Companies, headquartered in Clifton, New Jersey, announces a personnel change in its moulding manufacturing division, Consolidated Pine, located in Prineville, Oregon.
After 40+ years of dedicated service, Bob Scanlon, General Manager, has retired.
The current management team will be assuming all of Mr. Scanlon’s duties. The entire organization is deeply grateful for Bob’s dedicated service and wishes him health and happiness in his retirement.

While 2010 has been a year of unrest and uncertainty, The Consolidated Companies, headquartered in Clifton, NJ, appears to have an upbeat prognosis for the industry and its organizations future.
In the early part of this year, Consolidated’s “CDS” division acquired the assets of the long standing Door and Millwork Wholesaler, Long Island Wholesalers of New York. The modus for this was not only to capitalize on the market share of LIW with regard to their Exterior Door business, which CDS has been engaged in, but to catapult CDS into the Interior door business and ancillary millwork products.
Regretfully, on June 27th, 2010, CDS’s Door facility in Philadelphia experienced a catastrophic fire causing a complete cessation of door assembly operations. However, with the acquisition of the LIW operation 5 months prior, due to the efforts of a dedicated staff, within 3 weeks of the fire, modified operations resumed in what was LIW’s Allentown facility. To date, production is almost at 75% of pre-fire levels.
In addition to the aforesaid expansion, Consolidated is pleased to announce another progressive growth step by purchasing the assets of the Luvipol Puertas distribution operation in Monsey, NY, and becoming the Exclusive distributor of the Luvipol Door Line of Spain. This, formally the Creative Door distributorship of Monsey.
Exciting as 2010 has been for the Consolidated Companies, with the expansion of the Door category in its product mix, Consolidated Distribution Services will be moving all door operations to a new facility in Bensalem, PA.
The Consolidated Companies, headquartered in Clifton, New Jersey, operates three divisions in what will now be 4 locations. Consolidated Lumber Corporation: distributors of Mouldings and Millwork to Retail Lumberyards and Home Centers in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania markets. Consolidated Pine: a manufacturer of Solid, Finger-Jointed, and Finger-Jointed & Primed Pine Mouldings located in Prineville, Oregon.
Consolidated Distribution Services: distributors of Millwork and Building materials servicing the same customer base as Consolidated Lumber Corporation.

Consolidated Distribution Services, a division of The Consolidated Companies, has announced the purchase of the assets of the Parksite-Plunkett Webster Door operation located in Philadelphia, PA. This division of PPW was formally Eastern Distributors at the same location.
In addition to a myriad of other products, CDS has been a Masonite Entry Door distributor in their Dayton, N.J. location for many years. CDS will be moving it's current Masonite Door operation to the facility in Philadelphia, and integrate equipment and personnel, both in the shop and customer service. All other products will continue to be distributed out of the Dayton, New Jersey site.
